TextForge is an email gateway service that allows AI agents (such as Claude, GPT-4, and other large language models) to draft emails on your behalf. Key features include:

  • AI-assisted email drafting
  • Human approval workflow before any email is sent
  • Gmail integration for sending emails
  • API access for authorized AI agents

3. Account Requirements

  • You must have a valid Google account to use the Service
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
  • You must not share API tokens with unauthorized parties
  • You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service

4. Acceptable Use

TextForge is designed for managing your own personal and business email communications. You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Send spam, unsolicited emails, or bulk commercial messages
  • Operate email marketing campaigns or use the Service as bulk email infrastructure
  • Send emails on behalf of third parties or allow others to use your account without authorization
  • Violate the CAN-SPAM Act, GDPR, or any applicable anti-spam regulations
  • Harass, threaten, or abuse others
  • Impersonate others or misrepresent your identity
  • Attempt to bypass the approval workflow
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service
  • Violate Google's Terms of Service or Gmail Program Policies

5. Email Approval Workflow

Important: All emails drafted by AI agents must be approved by you before they are sent. You are responsible for reviewing and approving all outgoing emails. By approving an email, you confirm that:

  • You have reviewed the content
  • You authorize the email to be sent from your account
  • The email complies with applicable laws and these Terms

6. API Access

  • API tokens provide access to the Service on your behalf
  • You are responsible for all actions taken using your API tokens
  • You may revoke API tokens at any time
  • We may rate-limit or suspend API access for abuse

7. Privacy

Your use of the Service is subject to our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.

8. Intellectual Property

  • You retain ownership of your email content
  • We retain ownership of the Service and its technology
  • You grant us a license to process your content to provide the Service

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

11. Termination

  • We may suspend or terminate your access for violation of these Terms
  • Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy
